St. Julie Billiart and St. Peter in Chains’s Athletic Commission oversees all CYO sports in both parishes and is proud to offer one of the most complete sports programs for boys and girls, grades four through eight. The Commission maintains the uniforms and equipment, pays the entrance fees, reviews and assigns the teams’ coaches, and represents the parishes at the CYO Board meetings. The greatest source of revenue for the sports program is from the sale of the lottery calendars.
This ministry was begun to offer support and consolation to our parish family at the time of a parishioner’s death. Every parish member is invited to participate. Some members help by handing out the funeral Mass programs and answering any questions guests may have at the time of the funeral Mass. You may want to volunteer for the Resurrection Choir or to be available if the family requests a Lector or Eucharistic Minister. Other parishioners volunteer by organizing and making food for a luncheon served after the funeral. You might like to volunteer to make phone calls or help serve or clean up the luncheon. Call the church office at 513-863-3938 for more information.
